• Weird black and pink bones

Hello! I've been making a sword for gmod and pretty mutch everything is done in terms of animating and compiling and all that. But when i view it in model viewer, it looks like this : [img]http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/1853/blahvj.jpg[/img] I know that the purple and black squares means that there is a texture missing.. but there shouldnt be anything there that needs to be textured. Then only thing thats there, are bones. I would really like some help with this, I've been spending a few hours trying to fix this.
Maybe you accidentally made a duplicate of those polygons and left it untextured?

Bump due to i have the same problem.
What modeling program are you using? Did you decompile the hands yourself?

Did you decompile the hands yourself?[/QUOTE] 3DS MAX, and yes I did that myself.. might have made something wrong there, I think when I was going to compile it, it didint want to becuse it told me to texture the bones (or well, they were objects that will be turned in to bones), might have been that.... Anyone know how to get it to compile it without me having to texture them? Okey, i managed to fix the error.. turn out that texture thingy was the fault, when i didint do it, it gave me the errors that i would skip the ''bones'' but somehow, it still worked! Thread can be closed :3
