Maxis just released a patch that allowed you to export creations to Maya, is it possible that people can make Spore Creations in Garrysmod?
well if you can export them to maya, then take the maya file and add bones and rigging, then export as an smd and compile

Well, it was, but revival is possible since the Collada export command, which I hear works with Maya.

There are collada plugin for max and some other 3d graphical packages. Models which was exported from spore already has an skeleton. Here an article: [url]http://www.spore.com/comm/tutorials/export_creatures[/url]
It does say for creatures at the moment. Can anyone confirm that this will also work for the vehicles as well? I would but currently I do not have the game installed on this PC.
I believe for all spore models, except adventures, but I shouldn't have to say that.
