Dragonball: Raging Blast 2 characters

Personally, I wouldn't mind trying to make them myself, but after spending the past day going through Google and it's many useless links, I can't for the life of me find a guide on HOW to take characters, or make them, or pretty much anything other than pasting a picture of Cartman from South Park on a box. Most other things require you downloading 6 or 7 different 3D editing programs, some of which the links to download for are just plain dead....

So, that being so....I'll post a list of the characters from there. And here's hoping someone knows what the hell their doing, 'cause I sure don't with this character design thing....

To make sure no one goes misunderstanding and throwing this thread into a giant fight.....I'm not looking for all the characters to be done. Well, eventually, but that's not what I'm asking for right now. Just anyone finished would be nice.

I'm looking for pictures of everyone.....somehow, there's a million pictures of fanart of Broly, yet I can't even find the actual in-game pictures for him.

I'd post pictures of how they would look, but I'm still working out how to position ragdolls in Gmod, nevermind figuring out how make new ones. Still trying to figure out how you look at a 360 CD's files, all it has when I look at it is that annoying mini-video that it's supposted to be in a 360.....

If I can figure this thing out, I'll probably be starting with Super Buu, and his transformations.

Although I'm still hoping someone else out there with experience will be willing to help out making these.

Glad to see a DBZ thread with some support. We really need some new, high quality DBZ Ragdolls. Then again, perhaps waiting for Ultimate Tenkaichi would provide even better ones...or the same ones with a filter or something over the textures, heh heh. But we can get some GT models too then. Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Pan would be nice, and whatever new What-If characters they may include.

I definitely support this though. I'm a huge DBZ fan. My favorites are Bardock, Dabura, and Cooler, but for the most part I like almost all the characters relatively equally. It would be nice just seeing any of them make it in, with some Finger, Face, and Eye posing if at all possible.

So yeah, full support. I really hope someone comes along to do this. Though I know anime models weren't really popular on Facepunch a while back, they seem to be slowly gaining popularity...which is awesome.

I know I'm already becoming a broken record, but.....I wouldn't mind doing this myself, but there aren't exactally any guides on how that can help me......only progress I found on how to read a 360 CD was downloading some unreliable looking programs, which won't allow you to use you CD for gameplay afterwords...

In short, I'm not going anywhere fast with making them myself.

If worried about that, you could download an ISO file of the game.

Hmm, trying that now. Of course, I then have no idea how to read said files.....never heard of 001, 002, and so on files. None of the 4 3D editing programs tutorials said to get can open them....

Well, I suppose having the files is a start.

I think I'll start with someone who doesn't have extra limbs like Buu, though, so I'll probably start with Android 17 or 18.

Still hoping for someone with experience making Gmod stuff to help.

The curse of Facepunch, a 80% of the request from anime characters, fall dead, a 15% gives to someone a hope to see the model done, but it´s forget it by the modeler, and a 5% from being done.

This can change if this anime it´s popular...or not in their stupid concept. If it´s in my case, i would like to see Teen Gohan in Super Saiyan 2, he it´s like the main character of my current anime serie: Katekyo Hitman Reborn (Reborn! in USA), and because he beat Cell.

Eh nevermind, maybe you should wait for someone that will want to take the task or check if there it´s a modeler that would like to do this, if you offer to the modeler links for the textures, it would be much easier to do, see ya!

If I had the textures to give....all I have is the ISO files that are up, and they're in some sort of 001, 002 files that can't be opened. And I tried WinRar like suggested, it doesn't do anything...

I'm not a fan of anime.....other than DBZ, but DBZ is special. But I don't see why it would be so shot down here, it's just an art style. Hell, make them just for the sake of putting them in to shoot them....pun not intended.

Also....I have no idea what a Katekyo Hitman Reborn is, but why does it have Gohan in it.....Akira only allows Goku and Vegeta in other shows, if I remember right. And Vegeta must always be a pirate of some form.

Hmm. DBZ is one of the biggest animes, and a pretty big show in general. I'll make a request for something non-anime, and see if it gets a better responce. If so.....then that's just silly.

If we are allowed to make multiple threads, that is...

There are tutorials out there, from what I've heard. And I wouldn't say that none of the anime requests are done, because there are far more anime requests being done now than ever before. Perhaps the huge list is too unspecific, or perhaps we just have to wait a while before someone picks it up. I've waited weeks, even months sometimes before a request would be taken up. It's just a matter of waiting a few days and bumping, waiting a few days and bumping. Eventually someone might do it. If you are really willing to give it a shot, LongJohnKiller, I'd find the Facepunch users RTB and ApocHedgie, and ask them for help. They might be able to point you toward a tutorial or something along those lines. There's also Glaber, he might point you in the right direction as well. Not sure though. If you can get it started, make a WIP thread in the main models section, and I'm sure people who know what they're doing will be willing to give you some advice on it.
