It's only a beta, but the concept of being able to make models in Hammer intrigued me and I was wondering if anyone had given this a try.
That wiki has some incorrect information. Crafty supports exporting with texture maps intact.
That's good to know, but I'm asking about this Propper program, not Nem's Crafty.
So no one's tried this then? Damn, I was hoping to find out some first hand information about it. It sounds like something that'd be pretty useful for modeling.
That looks cool, why not just try it now?
I tried it, and I think the download on the wiki is missing some files. It mentions coming with a few needed (more or less) prefabs, which aren't present in the download, as well as some other inconsistencies.
True that.
This got me really excited, and shot me down when I learned that it's missing files.
