well FINE then. I liked the map. Alot. You don't realize how big it is from the screenshots. Map King'd or agree'd, whatever the fuck it is now.

Texture repetitiveness is not nice. Doesn't matter if the texture itself is nice.

@Dclone2 If you look at flatgrass for example, you have repetitiveness, too.
But in my texture you have a good reason for this. Try to textue somthin in this size without recurrences.

Add:
A small outside area accessible by a secret tunnel or something. (Some natural light)
Change water texture to the modified gm_construct water.
Add AI Nodes and a map icon.
A.I nodes would be nice

Texture looks too painted. But the Holodeck looks dang awesome.
does someone have special ideas about the skytexture? atm im thinking about:
night - a simple sky at night.
city - some skyscrapers in the background.
mounains - mountains in the background
a fully blender rendered sky - dont know exactly what i will do.
Is the water texture in V2 the same as V1?
The reason being is that it is incredibly dark once you get into the water making underwater building and sorts, useless.
in v1 it was a texture i made long time ago.
now its "gm_construct/water".
Can the holographic environments be changed mid-game in v2? And what about a tropical underwater holo-environment since your already thinking about sky/ground level
The env is changeble by a button, but im afraid mingebags maybe use it to anoy people in it.
Well the underwater area would look nice. but i think it will be complicatedto find good pictures for it.
and my blender crude blender skils dont allow me to do it on my own.

The grass doesn't quite make sense with the underwater environment.
I really like the holo idea though.
yeah the grass underwater is funky... I kinda want the holo deck floor to be slightly bigger (since it's "outdoors" for you map) and to have a concrete floor... custom I would assume. The floor would has a slightly rasied platform in the middle(about sidewalk height) with a path the same elevated height leading to the door... and if you learned how to texture from a tutorial I'd love to have a link, either PM'ed or just posted.
Edit: I also noticed that the holodeck is in the "fort" room.... It should have it's own room, maybe down a short hallway... well not short, average.
the holo area is a replacement for an outside area. so i choose grass.
Metal or concrete would cause the feeling of beeing inside.
the holo material is stolen from valve...
its based on the screens from portal.
I think its time for a bit playtest, before you can say its to small or bad placed.

Yes. I do think the holodome should have it's own room at least, and a concrete platform about sidewalk height in it that is circular just like the dome, with a path that is the same height as the platform leading out into the hallway. But yes, THANKS for the download. I'd love to see it. And I would also like to know how you make your own textures. Private message maybe?
