So i made this mega pack of all sorts of variants of my beloved zombies! REQUIRES HL2: EPISODE 1 OR EPISODE 2 FOR THE ZOMBINE TO WORK. THE REST ARE FINE WITHOUT Here's some new zombie models to replace your old ones. the zombie models now have more skingroups, and are slightly updated texture wise, mainly the zombine. these models are compatible and tested with: hl2, hl2: ep1, hl2: ep2, hl2: lost coast, and Garry's mod. They should work with any mods of these games as well. Also included for gmod are NPCs !!!!!!, complete with squads and spawnicons :) The zombie types are: ZOMBIE: skin 1 = original (escapee) skin 2 = citizen skin 3 = rebel (green skin) skin 4 = insurgent (rebel variant, blue skin) skin 5 = medic (rebel variant, grey, medic) skin 6 = security (zombie odessa cubbage!) skin 7 = scientist ZOMBINE: skin 1 = original (soldier) skin 2 = shotgunner skin 3 = prison guard skin 4 = night elite (stealth) skin 5 = elite (white) skin 6 = outland (beta style) POISON ZOMBIE: skin 1 = original (citizen) skin 2 = rebel (beta style/original combo) I recommend you also get the following tools, they will help you use the various skins: SKIN CHANGER STOOL: [url]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=32752[/url] BODYGROUP CHANGER STOOL: [url]http://s-low.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=622[/url] Have fun! HOW TO INSTALL: just copy the 'materials', 'models', and 'addons' folders (everything in this back basically) and paste them directly into your main game folder (e.g. C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USERNAME\garrysmod\garrysmod\ ) if asked whether to overwrite content, click yes to all. This pack is really intended for garrysmod, so that you can actually use the extra skins. There is also a hexed model pack, but doesn't include npcs, as they wouldnt work: [url]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=94966[/url] IMAGES are on the gmod.org download page :P CREDITS: Sabre: for creating this pack, decompiling and then recompiling the zombie models to add extra skins, hexing, setting up, editing, and making some of the textures, and generally getting annoyed when this stuff glitched so often. Soja: for making the animation models (don't know what they were, but they worked!), for the parts of the secong poison zombie skin, and for parts of the outland (beta) zombine skin defstar: for parts of the zombie odessa cubbage skin. drtrahx: for the beta zombie skin (third skin) (i think. i got it from his gmod.org file) polkamaster: for the citizen zombie skin menter: for the prison and parts of the stealth zombine skins Painkilla: for the zombie kleiner skin n00buss: for the zombine normal map texture, and the zombine elite texture Furioso: for the improved standard zombine skin (black armour pads fix) MorganG: for parts of the zombie rebel texture (used a metrocop zombie texture, made by him i think. got it from holmess' metrocop zombie playermodel) correct me if im wrong on any of the stuff above. feel free to use this in your own mod/pack/whatever, just give full credit like i did. Yeah. New link. Garrysmod.org is taking too long to respond ever hour or so.
i don't think so...i only have a gmod.org account, so there's no where else i can host it (as far as i know) without getting an account somewhere else. The current link works for me though, so im not quite sure what's wrong.
I don't see why you added beta ones, as there is a whole pack dedicated to it. Other then that, its pretty awesome.

It's back up again. Great job on the pack, too. Someone should make a real Elite Zombine. With the different boots and such.
Upload it again. and don't include the "+" in the file name. It makes the download fuck up. Half-Dead had the same problem for his Black Mesa Humans + Monsters pack.
garrysmod.org is still down for me :saddowns: It sounds like an awesome pack too. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Ah, i see. won't let me download either. right, i'll reupload it then. if you already have it, don't bother downloading again, because all i'm doing is changing the name. glad to see people like it though, originally this was a private thing, but considering the utter lack of usable zombie variants, i decided to release it along with some of my other stuff. That, and the fact uploading is easier than having to use msn to send it to people, which always took ages. I get crash when spawning a zombine, I wonder if I'm the only one who has this problem
first question would be, do you own hl2: episode 1 or episode 2?

Do the rest of the zombies work? I think i know what the problem is, I kind of had it before. Basically, I expect that the animation model for the zombine (zombie_soldier_animations.mdl) has spazzed or something, and so when the model tries to play the animations (ie when it becomes an npc) it spazzes. Yeah, it happened to me when I spawned zombine, but then it was only because I'd hexed the animations model. Now you won't have done that, but I think the problem's something similar. I'd suggest re-mounting episode 2 in your gmod, because ep2 contains this animations file - I didn't include it. And if that doesn't work, try un-mounting it, then re-install ep2, the re-mount it. I hope this works, it's really just an educated guess. If all else fails, re-installing is usually a good option. That, or giving up. Oh and by the way, the spawners are separate - don't go redownloading the original. just look at the bottom of the first post.

One thing you forgot in this pack... METROCOP ZOMBINE! That would be awesome.

On a serious note, I did consider it, and yes, it would be awesome. But to do it properly would mean a whole new model, which would mean it wouldn't be able to work as an npc, as the npcs work via skingroups. I suppose bodygroups could work potentially, but meh, I'm done with this pack, until I eventually get my ass in gear and make a V2 to fix some of the bugs with it.
Needs more fast zombie.
