• How can I model bodygroups for props

Hello, I would like to start off my saying I do not model and I really don't have a very good idea on how to. I do have Blender installed, I also know exactly what I want to do. Now to get down to it. I want to lets say get a vehicle model, as some may know there is usually added bodygroups. I want to import this into some modeling software (preferably blender) and then import another model (such as one in a police items pack) and put them together.. So then when I get in game I can easily just hold C go to bodygroups and then enable this piece. As I said at first I am not a modeler really so I need semi-detailed instructions.
