I've tried and tried on this model hack, I truly have, but I just can't seem to weight the vertices correctly to the bones as such that it actually animates correctly with HL2 animations.
Right now, the kneepads stretch and clip with the legs.

Yup, it's a fucking pain in the ass to rig/weight. I believe I uninstalled 3DS Max out of rage 2 or 3 times when I was learning.
It's my least favorite part of modeling. I wish I could train a monkey to do it for me while I drink strawberry milkshakes.
