I made a simple model in blender just to test it out. But I can't export as MDL. Also, do I need anything else to test it out? I just wanna use the model, I don't care about textures..

First of all, you don't export MDL files directly from any modeler. What you export instead are SMD files that are compiled into an MDL file, with the compilation instructions stored in a QC file you'd write in a program like Notepad.
