Well im a complete newb im wanting to get started what program do i need were do i start, what do i do.

3DS MAX is a good program but isn't free try using blender (THIS IS FREE) and search for a web called blederguru :D
3dsmax, sign up as a student, get it for free
after getting the student version of 3dsmax,.
