Hello,
I'm learning how to model and I'm very new to it, so I need some help with GUIStudioMDL. I've decompiled a model from CS:S and I'm now trying to compile it again wiyh GUIStudioMDL, but I can't seem to get the paths working. When I try to set it at the correct folder which is listed when you want to set the path, it tells me that Gameinfo.txt is missing. I tried to put my CS:S gameinfo.txt in the orangebox/bin folder and it worked. However, now it tells me that it can't find steam app user info ;(
Help me ples
I'd suggest using the Crowbar compiler/decompiler.
It's got a much easier to learn interface, and it's not as picky about filepaths.
As for the gaminfo.txt missing, try performing a cache check/file check through the Steam menu. It will download any files missing from your game repository.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply, I'll try Crowbar out and see if it's easier for me, thanks!
Crowbar is probably best for you but also, do you have steam open in online mode when you're trying to compile? I've gotten that error when my steam wasn't on.
