I'm at the very end of the process of making my model. Everything is completed, and compiling nicely.
however.
After spending hours typing in (now correct) code into the qc, i have found that the sliders are there but they effectively do nothing in modelviewer. I know this is a common problem, because every time i search this on google i get several threads that hit this very same problem, but none of them actually solving it. There must be something to fix this- what am I doing wrong? should i be exporting things in a certain order? I'm using xsi modtool.
here is the qc, although i can tell you now that i'm pretty sure it's right. just in case.

a great big thankyou and an even bigger cookie to anyone can help me, this is the last hurdle before the skin is comlete.
I assume you actually created your .vta properly?
nope, i'm using xsi.
I just found that exporting the reference mesh, then the vta IN THAT ORDER fixes the problem, but for some reason all of the flexes are doing twice as much as they should be. no matter, i think the problem is in the default flex.
Do you make a 10 frame animation and export the .VTA at the 10th frame?
