does anyone know how to fix those? i get them in gmod and TF2, and they seem to get worse the higher-poly the model.
example (from someone else, but with same (sorta) problem)

some of my friends thought it might be the source engine that got a bit corrupted, so i removed all source GCF's and redownloaded them, 'cept that didn't work.
help would be much appreciated!
EDIT: two example pictures by me in TF2

If it's exactly like those pictures, where it goes black when it hits the center of the model, I'd almost bet money on it being UV problem - either from a bad UV in the first place or (more likely) model corruption. Unless he modified the UV, which I highly doubt, you should try redownloading the models themselves.
There are other possibilities, too, but it'd be hard to say without pics, and redownloading is probably going to be the easiest answer without decompiling and working with the model itself.
nudge! does nobody know the answer to my problem? also, i added two extra pics yesterday, hope that helps. also, i checked all of the affected models in model viewer, and it doesnt happen there.
I think it might be from your graphics card.
I had them almost everywhere when I installed Half Life 2 on my 10 year old laptop.
thing is, it worked just fine before! i just dont know before what :saddowns:
I also had this problem in Gmod shortly before getting my new computer. It also worked just fine before. It is very strange.
strange indeed. it seems to be the source engine which is causing it, since other games dont have this.
