XSI Modtool rendermap is black

Hi.

I’m hoping somebody can help me out. When I try to creat an image with the Rendermap tool, I get an all black image. I have tried with both 6.01 and 7.5 and get the same results.

I have imported a Daz Studio model using crosswalk. I was following along with a tutorial and when I got to the part where I had to merge the layers and then create a .tga file as a new material using the Rendermap tool, I just get a solid black image.

Hopefully somebody can tell me what I am doing wrong.
