I'm looking for a utility that will convert skp files to 3ds ones. I've already Googled it but it seems I can't find anything.
Is there a handy utility that does this conversion? I really don't want to download blender or the free version of Sketchup.

Get the L4D authoring tools, it has a sketchup to .smd plugin, and the .smd can be imported to .3ds. Then again, when modeling for source, you want to save in .smd.

I don't have Sketchup. And I've already tried to convert using the FBX converter. It won't convert the dae or skp because of a compatibility issue between the formats.
