So I found this handy utility, thought people that use 3DS Max would enjoy it.
Allows you to compile straight from 3ds.

This should help a lot for LODs.
This really should have been made like a few years ago.
Thanks all for the comments! I updated the tool today to support older version of Max (going back to 3ds Max 2008 at least). Please let me know how it works for you.
