Ok, so i'm trying to sort out my first model. I'm using Wall Worm and 3ds max 2016 to compile it all. I've created collision models from the mesh hulls but when I try to manipulate it in game with my physgun, the end of the beam stays fixed to where it first spawned?

Any help is appreciated, cheers.
try spawning it as a regular model (prop_physics), and not an entity, and try manipulating that.
When I try to spawn it using gm_spawn, garrysmod crashes with no messages.
Here's the dump if it helps? http://richardbamford.io/dmp/hl2_150913_crash_2015_11_28T16_18_5C0.mdmp
use another method to spawn the prop (i.e. 'prop_physics_create [modelname]'), or spawn it through the Q-menu.
When I use prop_physics_create to spawn it, nothing appears. If i try to use the Q menu to spawn it, the game crashes altogether.
I have no idea what's causing your issues. I can't help you anymore.
you can talk with Robotboy655 about your crash issues, however.
