• .QC File Finger Bones Question.

If the .qc file I require does not have finger bones, is that what's causing it to brake? I've decompiled a default HL model before and it has a .qc file and a .vta file which has all the finger bones in it. If I make a .vta file and copy and paste the finger bones into my playermodel folder, will it change anything or fix it? [editline]21st November 2015[/editline] An added question to the last one. What if I just copy and paste the finger bones in my .qc file? will it change anything or fix it.
I'm not sure what problem you are having first of all. But to answer your question - what bones are in the QC and VTA are not that important. The SMD is the one that needs to have them. Also just copy pasting doesn't work (unless you know exactly what you're doing), open it in a modeling program and add the bones there.

I've noticed this and thought maybe it needed finger bones for it to work?
