• $selfillum working on MDLviewer but not in GMOD

I'm working on some model and I need $selfillum, I added it to the vmt like that: "$selfillum" 1 Now in HL2 Model viewer I can see it like i have On and Off and I see the difference and not being afected by shadow. I put in gmod and it doesn't work at all, anyone have idea why?
Are you sure the illuminated texture has a proper alpha channel?
Yup, it's all white so it should be top power. Also I got a picture to explain: Both model on skin 2, Illu in HLMV and no illu in GMod.
This is going to sound stupid, but are you transferring the right files into your gmod folder?
Copy pasted from HL2 to gmod and I looked it's all ok.
Are you sure it's not your skin switcher tool? Have you tried changing skins with the tool (if you have one) on other models first?
Well right now, I recompiled all my models on the base: 1 model for state, like 1 model for on and 1 model for off, we will see if it's $selfillum or just shitty source engine. Later: YESSSS it worked, I had to make a different model for on and off and now selfillum work
