• Gmod player action names

Ok, so I'm compiling models to be used as player models for Garry's Mod, and I'm wondering, how exactly do player models on Gmod animate? Is it like most other animations where the animation is built into the model, or is it animated directly based on some kind of shared animation file? The reason I ask is because I have some character models with custom, non-bipedal animations that I'd like to mod over the player, and I can't find the action names I need like I can with NPC's. (Ex: ACT_IDLE, ACT_RUN, etc...) Can anyone help? I tried searching around, but didn't find any documentation anywhere.
No one knows how Gmod's player animations work? I hope it's not hardcoded. That would suck....
They're animated based on a shared file: http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Player_animations
Oh, dang. That sucks. I really wanted to make pony player models walk correctly. It's bipedal or nothing then... Thanks for the help. ^_^
