I couldn't find a proper GMod version of Jill in her battlesuit anywhere, so I decided to try and put one together. This is what I have so far. Just FYI, this isn't fantastic, I've only spent the last 2 days on this, and there are problems with joint constraints being a bit too strict which makes it a little hard to pose, but I wanted to let people have a go at it for feedback. I love feedback. Makes me want to keep doing stuff. Download link would probably be helpful huh. If anyone wants, I'll just make it a skin option or something and put the original texture back on. My only problems are like what you said in the op: joint constraints. They aren't really bad but it can get irritating at certain times. Apart from that however, very sweet model.
cool!, any chance you could do her BSAA uniform? I know someone was working on it, but I think the progress kinda died.
That's a nice pose Fort, seems posing is no trouble for you :P... Personally the only constraints that I found annoying were her shoulders, arms and hands. The shoulders make the top half of the arms look thin at certain angles (once posed of course). When posing the arms near the body they seem to have a magnetic repulsion. The hands don't fully turn for myself, but are easy enough to pose. The faceposing, eyeposing and fingerposing are awesome and the body group is a nice touch :). Great job Fedge!
my only complaint after playing around with her is the hands, it was very hard to get her in a two handed aiming pose, the left wrist doesn't want to move very much, even trying the can trick didn't work. other than that, awesome model.

I could fix the physmodel for you if you sent me the source files. I would rather not decompile it and fuck it up if can avoid it.

I don't like things not working properly. So until I figure out what's going on, no faceposing, and no real reason to release it yet.
Mediafire must be down or something, the download link on their page keeps timing out. Oh well, it looks pretty impressive. I liked your other stuff btw. While there's nothing wrong with chicks in skintight outfits, you should definitely think about trying your hand at...well...pretty much anything else that strikes your fancy. I'm sure lots of people here like your work enough to be waiting eagerly for it. Again, awesome work on your ports.

Why not just change the phys file to an already existing one? I tought it was easy as that?

Looks quite good.
Sure, go ahead. I also changed the vmts a bit, for future reference any spec maps need to be in the alpha channel of the bumpmap if you want to use "$phongexponentmap".
I'm having trouble adding the skin to the model. I use this in the .qc to make the hair and face switch - $texturegroup "hairface" { { "pl0800_01Face_BM" "pl0800_12hair_BM" "arm_bm"} { "face_diffuse2" "hair_diffuse2" "arm2_bm"} } I tried adding another texturegroup for the body but it doesnt seem to work? How do I go about adding more than 1 skin option?
