Currently working on getting a new delorean in source for use for SFM. Only problem I have is making the poseable parts like tires and doors. And since I got the original model maybe make the petals and gear shift poseable as well. Plus this model is coming up to the 32 texture limit.

What determines the moving parts to be movable, dummies? I remember GTA had stuff like that, but even then, that's for 3dsmax and I can't help you much there if it isn't for 3dsmax. My best guess is to take the Sniper's van and see how the movable parts are done for that and base yours off it.
I tried importing the hl2 buggy but it keep crashing 3ds max. I have a look at using the sniper van as reference.
Just create a bone with origin of the axis the wheel (for example) should move in, weight it to it and then "Select and Link" it to the root bone.
That should do for SFM.
