Hey yall!
So i have for a long time been amazed by the art style of Dishonored and wanted the charcaters in my Garry's Mod.
Problem is, i have no fucking clue on how to export them to the Source Engine...
If anyone here have some knowledge about this would they please help, I have tested the models in Cinema 4D and they are all rigged, textured etc...

they're real but they're pretty much useless because .c4d

Why don't you just extract them from the packages themselves? Full textures, bones and everything in PSK or md5mesh.

You can try with .FBX then, the bones will appear.

UPDATE: HOLY SHIT the Source SDK didnt give me any errors!

Unfortunately, the only models Corvo has in the game are unrigged "statues" used during the epilogue, making it much more of a pain to ragdoll as the t-posing and rigged has to be done from scratch.
Given what the new DLC is about, there's a good chance there will be a rigged, proper model of Corvo in it. Converting that would be much easier than the Corvo models in the stock game.

what's cinema 4d? sounds crazy!
my point was that cinema 4d is not common around this section and thus is useless to a large majority. the fact that they're weighted isn't impressive at all, Dishonored is supported by umodel

I just felt like trying to port over some of the models from the game because for some reason, nobody has released any charcacter models from the game and the fact people say Unreal Engine 3 games are easiest to rip from. I only started a thread here to see if anyone was willing to continue the progress. I have managed to get a model in to the game but editing the physics in Source Engine is really complicated compared to the Unreal Engine 3.
