i am a bit stuck i have seen this writeup about reskins your charcters on gmod you no changeing clothes and all that well i tried it myself and it didnt work itplus i was useing photoshop and gfc scape something like that and well when i was starting to open the folder and redo the charcters clotheing it said this folder wont work so i tried a diffrent one didnt work so i all of them in one folder and none work and i see all these people that do it so i need some help how you change the clotheing or take them off on a ragdoll can someone please surrgest a site to look at or if im useing the wrong tools can someone help please thank you

download VTF edit, and convert them to a bmp or tga or some other file and then you can use them

Im curious, thought I saw somewhere that you didnt HAE to use photoshop, that gimp could be used too. Any ideas if thats true? Or maybe im just remembering that for something else lol. Id really like to reskin two models/ragdolls that I have (Predator and predalien) any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!
You can use gimp or any other paint program that supports TGA formats.
