TF2 1940's car updated model [Need help with textures]
2 replies, posted
Hello there! SoundofNoise here.
I spend last two weeks remaking a seven year old JTheory's 1940s car model and came up with redesign,
that hopefully will fit in the Team Fortress universe. So far, the whole chassis mesh was re-done starting
from headlights to rear bumper, but there's a lot more to do. Next on the list is interior, exhaust, suspention
and so on. While on it, I am going to post some WIP screenshots along the way. Hopefully, weekly.
And that's where your part comes in.
I don't know how to draw textures in the style of TF2 and I am in desperate need of a guy, who knows how to do so.
Contact me here or on my Steam account. Much appreciated!
Also, I'd like to know your guys opinion on the model at this stage. Is there anything I'd need to do particularly?
Feel free to discuss it here!

Its missing a big radiator grille, kinda like this

It doesn't has to be that detailed, though. See some other TF2 vehicles, for reference
The rest of the model looks amazing, too
Yes, I agree. The thing is that I've made around five variations of radiator grill referencing cars like 1949s Buick Roadmaster, Peugeot 203 and Moskvich 402 and none of them really fit. It's just makes a car looks kinda off and awkward.
And I'd have to disagree with you on detailization, because the whole intention of making this model is to use it in Source Filmmaker purely and your example is great, but great for an ingame model, not something you would use in machinimas.
Thanks for reply, by the way!
