Im using version 2.49b can someone recommend me a good tutorial ? I found some on youtube but most of them are slipshod or undone.
First, don't use Blender 2.49b. Blender 2.57 was released today and it is world's better. It's not a bad idea to keep a copy of Blender 2.49b around for running older scripts, but for actual modeling, you'll be much better off using 2.57. There are some sites with good tutorials: http://www.blenderguru.com/ http://www.blendercookie.com/ http://montagestudio.org/tutorials/ This one is a for-pay video tutorial, but it's quite good: http://cgmasters.net/blender-3d-ninja-character-modeling.html And I'm REALLY looking forward to the one coming out at the end of the week by Angela Guenette. Also, the book "Blender Foundations" is pretty decent.
This is also quite a good starter point also; http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
