I was hoping someone could create a playermodel for GMod of "Gaius" from "Fire Emblem: Awakening."
I'm pretty sure Gaius has the same problem as most fire emblem 3ds characters. No 3D models. All the animated scenes are pre-rendered. Or else you'd probably have seen a Xander, Chrom and Takumi playermodel from me D;
sadley i don't know where to start my file for the model is a .FBX and i don't know how to setup .qc and all that stuff
If you wanna try, then here's some resources! First, download blender then download smd tools. Blender has a built-in .FBX importer so you're good. Then read this thread this to kickstart yourself. Since you're starting out, download Crowbar and then sourcefilmaker, make sure you launch it along with the half life model viewer inside it for all the files. Then, open this in your computer > C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SourceFilmmaker\game\hl2\models\humans\group01 and decompile male_01.mdl into a folder with crowbar. After all that and downloading SMD tools too start blender import your .FBX model, export it as an SMD, go to "file" in blender and hit "new" and then import male_01_reference.smd and then import your spiderman SMD model. Drag and drop the mesh of spiderman, whatever you called it when you exported it earlier (it should look like an upside-down triangle) into the armature/skeleton on the upper right side of the screen (which should look like a stick figure) For reference look at this Then just follow that guide I linked above Good luck and ask me any questions if you have any!
