Can uh...anyone help with this? [editline]1st May 2011[/editline] Heh, it looks like if they were ported to borderlands. BorderJoker.
Seems like a lot of models are like this after an update, but it's only for some people (me included). Are anymore of your models like this? For example, your halflife ep:2 models?
Ill check, but can anyone find a way to fix this? if you notice, jokers gloves are normal, and i checked batman, and he's fine, so its only a select few model/model parts for whatever reason.
I heard it has something to do with the phong.
Yes, it's the recent update on garry mod that causing this. Valve need to fix the source engine they did, it is also having problems on DOD:S game as i heard. Best is to just wait, till this is fix.

Im not asking WHY im asking HOW i can fix it.
I've noticed this with the $bumpmap shader. You can try using the model without a bumpmap and using a dedicated phong mask, instead of using the bumpmap's alpha channel for the phong mask.
Some people see it as black and some see it as white. I guess that tells the difference between Nvidia and AMD cards.
It's actually more than probably because the .vmts are missing $phongexponent parameter. Try adding $phongexponent "150" into the .vmts and see if it helps.
