*yawn* Request away. Keep in mind though, if the model hasn't been made, I can't port it. I cannot model. Also, I STILL can't figure out why the HELL my collision models won't work. I'll take 5 at a time, do them, then come back for more. Ready? GO!

[caps]Left 4 Dead trains![/caps] Do it...NOW!
porting from where?
... You didn't make sense in that at all... I assume you just said; Porting this from where exactly? :l
He was asking where they are being ported from due the the op stating that it must already be a model. You can't request what you don't know exists if he doesn't know how to model. That's how I interpreted it at least.
Port the trains. Duh
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tangara
Does NOBODY listen?!
Port the trains. Duh
Trains from which game/engine/source Duh
Left 4 Dead That was the point of the first comment I made in this thread. Duh
Does NOBODY listen?!
Cool :D
Left 4 Dead That was the point of the first comment I made in this thread. Duh
The first question by ViralHatred was directed to OP, not you. Duh
I know. Duh Lol.
Interior Exterior I would love it
It must be an existing train model from a game...I'm afraid ChaosLord has already stated that D:
Do you port from the Trainz series? http://www.auran.com/TRS2004/DLS.php Ton of trains on there, and Tov's R160 is on it too.
Bingo, this man has hit the nail on the head. I'm porting mostly from the Trainz series. However, if someone could point me to a working HL2 .mdl decompiler... Course then again, L4D models ARE Source models, and can be brought to GMOD with very little effort. I think there may be a few physics differences that might have to be bugged out... And to the guy who requested the Tangera, I'll check to see if anyone's made one yet. The R160 I believe was just finished about a week ago lol

Works fine for me. Well, I don't know about L4D models though as I don't have L4D.
So will you port the L4D trains?
Do some mini trains! :D Although you should make some large versions and some mini tracks too.
Bump, due to me wanting to see if this is still alive
:( port the L4D trains damn you D:!
Streetcars! the R160 isnt bad, (if you are doing subways and overhead elevated trains... But i want some streetcars! Like a PCC car or such http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCC_streetcar Sadly for what I need it will need an interiour, and none of the existing Trainz models seem to have it or the model I'm looking for. http://www.3dtransit.com/ has a number of models but they are of so so quality. the PCCs and the CLRV dont look too bad.

(Hey look I found the thread!) I'll do what I can.
AWESOME! i look forward to this!
So Chaos, you done with trains? because I want a TTC train. Sorry for bumping.
Sorry for bump also, but Microsoft Train Simulator has the Tangara model, as well as the V-Set. Can you rip from that if i find the link to it?
Only with permission. I have never talked to anyone who models for MSTS. If you can get me permission from the author, I'll do my best.
Sure thing, if i can find it.
Sadly for what I need it will need an interiour, and none of the existing Trainz models seem to have it or the model I'm looking for.
Actually, I looked at this again, and the R160 model that was made for Trainz has transparent windows and a fully modeled interior. I can't personally speak to the quality of the interior, since the simulator is more about running trains that look nice on the outside, but it shouldn't be too bad. I'll snag that when I get home. At least I can DL on my brother's computer...XP
