• Who wants to rig these PW models I found?

I found some PW models ported by [b]Doakes[/b] (all credits to him) Would anyone be interested in rigging these to the biped skeleton and releasing them as ragdolls and models etc? The weapon models would be cool too! [url]http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1227430[/url]

I thought theses had already been done but that's only because I've found dozens of links to skydrives, cloud and mediafire. So, Maybe i'm wrong.
I don't know, it is kind of hard and time consuming. For example, Peace Walker. She has like over 50+ textures, not including the level, and you have to drag each piece on every polygon, plus she needs to be separated from the Air Strip, although the map can be ported to source if someone wants it.

What I have learned in rigging these models is that it is a lot quicker to re-texture than it is to assemble the mesh piece by piece. So I would strongly recommend simply importing as a single mes and in the case of texture blending, simply using face vertex and material editor to reconstruct the texture of the model in question. Thus far, it has allowed me to mesh mod and texture edit VO models and NPC that had suffered immense texture blending with much more ease than assembly would have taken. It is also far less laggy the more you start to remove unneeded face vertex, and less laggy initially since the select all is not on thousands of individual mesh but rather one large mesh.
