• How can I turn these ragdolls into playermodels?
    5 replies, posted
My server requires a few playermodels for darkRP. I have all the ragdolls, I just have no way to turn them into playermodels. I've included the male animation MDLs in my QC file, but they still don't seem to work. In HLMV I see no animations to test. Is there somebody who can help, or maybe do it for me in exchange for an ad on my server or something? Maybe a little "This nigga cool, click here for his shit" in the MOTD? Any help is appreciated.
That may be because either you are not including the animations properly or the ragdolls bones dont follow the structure of valvebipid bone structure (or however the fuck you write that)
Can you give a link to the ragdoll?
Can you give a link to the ragdoll?
The ragdolls happen to be from a bundle, so its not like I can give you the workshop link to the singular ragdoll. However, if you'd like, I have zipped up the ragdolls I'm working with and put it on google drive for you to look at. The ragdolls are using custom skeleton. A playermodel must use valve skeleton. There's a tutorial about converting ragdolls to playermodels by renaming the bones but it won't work properly. You might need to re-rig the models. You'll also need to use CaptainBigButt proportion method because the ragdolls has different proportion than humans

I don't have the hardware to use any 3d modeling software efficiently, nor do I have the money to upgrade said hardware. I would take a video and show you what Blender does when I try to do anything besides load a model, but a recording software would lower the framerate down to 6. I'm running on Intel HD graphics. Is there anything else I can do? There wouldn't by some miracle be any tool to do this for me?
