I'm porting a model to Gmod but when the model gets compiled the rigging messes up.
Here's how it looks in blender.

anyone know what's causing this to happen? It only happens after compiling.
I don't see anything wrong in the pics, but maybe try weight painting it?
Do you have more than 3 weights per vert? If so that would do it.
There's a reason people seldom do skirts in source and that's the one.

I thought that was only an issue with DMXs not SMDs.
What's your weight painting like? Anything under 0.05 will get removed, so you might need to increase the strength of your weights in a few areas.
Nothing in the weight paint was under 0.05.
