I found it pretty cool that someone went ahead and posted Gray and Trishka (plus Hekaton), but I was curious... Could anyone be so kind as to convert Ishi and Sarrano for Garry's Mod too, please?
Eh, I considered it, but it was a lot of work doing just a few characters, and reception generally was lackluster, so I didn't bother continuing.
Damn... I'm mainly needing them so I can take screenshots and make sprites out of them. I'm doing Gray and Trishka now. And yeah I've tried looking at converting from UE3 all the way to source but it's like... *shakes head vigorously*

Geez, that sucks. :s they were pretty good models as well. More would've been nice, but oh well.

Since you have converters that give you everything including the bones. It's grudge work, so takes time but nothing complex.

I made like eight texture groups for different kinds of detailtextures for each kind of material on Trishka's model. I add all the best shaders which most people completely neglect for some reason. Only got around a thousand downloads.
I have to agree on that sense. It's still drudgery work at the end of the day though sadly - and I know the feeling considering I've got stuff with circa a hundred downloads only. :(

The most annoying though is when no one comments on the stuff :D But yeah I could probably get Both the Ishi models into source as long as someone else does the faceposing.

Side note, you got a problem with faceposing? I can probably walk you through either method (vtacreate or actually doing it right with 3dmax). I finally did my first character with HL2 compliant flexes, and damn was I proud.
I might as well add it to it, Already done Ishi at the moment, but waiting for textures and shaders.

(apart from the eye flexes, which I kept fighting for forever :D You know how valve models tend to move the upper and bottom eyelid depending on where the eye itself is pointed at.) But good to know nexus that you're working on them. Wasn't actually aware you were.
Oh, thanks guys! I'm looking forward to it.

In this case, didn't want you guys to stress off over it.

I think those settings look pretty good.
If it makes you guys feel any better, I download your stuff.

Well, I can only hope it won't give you too much trouble... If I had the time to sit down and do it I would start learning how for sure.
The most annoying though is when no one comments on the stuff :D
I feel kinda bad for not commenting on your stuff now, as I think I've downloaded just about everything you've put up. My praise always seems hollow to me though, and any time I point out any issues the phrase "could I do any better" is always running through my head. Now that I've started learning to tweak little things myself, though, I probably won't need to point out issues I've had with anything. I will start commenting on things when I like them though.
Now that I think about it I also do feel bad, I should have. Thank my lucky stars the body parts are so flexible and unlimited too, makes posing a ton easier... Though getting that gun to be weldable is really challenging.
Sorry to bump this but I just wanted to see if anyone has made any progress on this by chance. If no one is interested then I'll let it die.
Yeah, I'm still wait for more Bulletstorm and DKF porting. I have nothing to help but I can support you if you decide to do.
Personally I'd love to see Sarrano, I always thought his uniform was pretty cool looking, I've seen it around in screenshots before so I'm guessing someone somewhere did it.
