Hey i've seen most vehicles ported from Left 4 Dead but i haven't seen the APC That was seen at the End Of Blood Harvest in Gmod.
Can somebody be kind enough to port the APC from the End of Blood Harvest with the Openable Ramp to Gmod.
Thanks.
That'd be cool...
Yeah i know.
As far as I know, its a hammer prop.
Yeah I also want the real crashing airliner also
Oh i did not know it's a hammer prop, but it can be ported right?
Not really.
It's made of a shitload of props, each with custom animations to play at specific times. The entire escape is pretty much multiple scripted models.
I've got it somewhere its all effects though if I remember correctly (i've ported all the L4D models myself, I found this great tutorial for it).
Edit: Ofcourse now I can't find it...
Sorry for second post but I found it ^^ Though its very buggy.
Its all in parts mostley effects. For some reason the body's collision model puts it higher in the air than you would expect, the hatch is an effect and the actual hatch is 3 miles from the effect green ring thingy and the wheels are an effect that only can be seen at a certain angle. I had a go at setting it up:

(Theres only one wheel because that one is the only one that would stay visible and it took me quite a while to get it in the right place. The body does have a nice interior though.)
Wow this is great, too bad that it's a hammer prop i wanted it so bad.

What hammer prop? This is a model and 5 effects (3 of which don't work well at all, the wheel and the ramp) which i've ported into GMod.
You can release whenever it is optimized and stuff and then you can release it.If you don't want to release it then fine.

I have no idea how to optimise it or anything :(

WRONG, the entire thing is made of valve's mock PhysX system, in other words. it will ONLY work in hammer
Or you could decompile the individual parts, assemble them, then compile...
Which is impossible as 90% Of them are just blocks or invisible until hammer runs the command or whatever to make them draw.
100% Possible.
There's no such thing as a "Hammer prop" that's only visible in hammer.
They're models like all the rest of the models.
Like Neo said, Decompile every part of it, put them all together and compile as a new model.
Like the C-130 Escape plane from Dead Air and the boat from Death Toll, they can be ported so i don't see why the APC Can't be ported.

I've put up a pic of it in GMod right there @.@ (though that would explain why 2 of them dont show up well, but there not invisible)

Can't decompile due to decompiler not working :(

It is ported... sorta
Thanks i hope you manage to decompile it.
Has this ever been done ?

Can You give me a link to the C-130 prop?
