• Decompiler broken again?

Whenever I use CannonFodder's decompiler I now get this "The procedure point Q_vsnprintf could not be located in the dynamic link library vtsdlib.dll." I do not know since when this happened but I think it is since 2 weeks after some update. I have placed the dll's in many folders without succes, does anyone know a fix?
I have no idea either, mine just gives me "Unable to load model", and helpfully informs me that I haven't chosen a model yet every time I try to browse to the model I want.
You need to change the mdl with a hex editor to fix that one at OP from where are you launching the decompiler?
From the scaler.exe window I open the StudioCompiler.exe which sits in the sdk/bin folder which always worked untill some update I gues.
You need to change the mdl with a hex editor to fix that one
I tried replacing the leading characters with all the combinations I read about, no dice. I'm not overtly sure why the engine differences were necessary to begin with, but I am glad that Valve has ensured the need for constant re-jury rigging of all applications related to their software. In fact at this point I'm beginning to suspect that Valve just accidentally breaks their own software on a weekly basis or so and releases it to the public so someone on Facepunch or Interlopers can post a workaround for them to continue working on more hat skins.
