This is my first (sucessful) personal reskin.

Now this is gonna be weird, but.
My personal character has his own story, and background, for my upcoming comics.
[b] SET BEFORE GORDON CAME TO C_17 [/b]
[b] History: [/b] Dale_uk_scout has his own name but no one uses it anymore.
The only person who uses it is the (un)fearsome Dr. breen who is always ruining D_U_S' fun, Breen needs him dead; otherwise Dale will find a way out of the city and call for help.
Breen has hated Dale 'cause he has stopped breen from producing more industrial areas in C_17, his untimely arrival happened as breen built his way up, at one stage they were both friends, but Wallace moved on up towards the city administrator.
As breen became the admin he started to order more guards and soldiers into and around C_17 so he was protected from harm.
Dale and Breen fell out when Dale set off an alarm causing him to go on the run, Breen had sent out so many guards, and a lot of them were killed by some assassins ( SIDE NOTE: most of these "Assassins" got enslaved or turned into a stalker to help the "City Effort")
Breen hates Dale as much as he hated gordon, reasons unknown.
Dale will always stop Dr. Breen.
The rebel in The picture is D_U_S' friend; Matt.
(Matt has a history but that will be unveiled in the comics)

First, you painted the trousers brown and added a facemap which I doubt you made. Lack of efforts.
Secondly, if this is a release (which this section is for, duuh), there is no link! If not wrong section.
Thirdly, the "background" is rather poor, most notably "Dale will always stop Dr. Breen."
Fourth, there is a difference between "personal skin" and "personal model"
I'm afraid in the general concern, this is far away from a "successful skin" even if it was your first.

Well done! Atleast part of the normal sheet is stolen from Rusty's survivors.
And the facemap is completely stolen. Well done.

It's almost scary how similar that facemap is to mine.
Halflambada's also sports a striking resemblance.

Something more successful would be more like different clothing than just the original colored.
The more I look at this the more I think you just slapped textures from the standard civvie models (with rehued pants) onto Rusty's model

Why did you bother doing a backstory for a shitty personal skin? By which I might add: 1) don't release your first skin and 2) nobody cares about personal skins.

I've had enough of this, if i get banned it dosent really matter because i'm just gonna say what i like.
Halflambdas model is actually one from that pack i put up, i should know, that hoodie is everywhere, i found a pack that has that hoodie in before halflambda put it on his model, so dont call me thieving when there are a [b] lot [/b] of good skinners and modellers who have stolen a lot of other peoples work, i'm not gonna say any names.
So shut your mouth, I cant model and this is like what? my 4th reskin i've ever made.

Your skin ain't no art there either :v Looks slap on and ms paint :v:
To be honest for a first skin it look fine. Well facemap that is, could use some more work on the main body like removing the citizen name tag and whatnot. It doesn't necessarily needs a shit load of crap on it, just something what you like. Other than that just keep on practicing with your texturing. Just next time, try making your own if you can though, instead of using other textures from other skins to slap on.
