But I can do all I want bones are not attached to the skin.
I would like to know if somebody can make me the skin, there is 2 weeks I'm on and I only fail...
Thank you for replies.
This is probably gonna get showered in Dumbs, but don't you just rotate the armature in edit mode or however that is in your program (I use blender) and then weight paint the living shit out of everything
@Drorkar: I did all bones placed where they have to be now
Sorry, I took the screenshot from my first post:

Oh, well since the bones are in place, you can just start weight painting so the model follows the bones?
no model don't follow bones :(
Not to be rude, but you're wasting your time if you plan on making this a client-side player skin. Due to the SteamPipe update for CS:S, custom player models are pretty much unusable if they aren't server-side skins.

You just make it into a VPK file and stick into your custom folder. It works like a charm
even if the custom folder isn't there, if you add it, it still works.
Thanx guys but if I move bones, skin don't move...
I don't know what to do and I'm soooo boring by 3D Max now :D
And I want this skin for Server side...

I've already tried that when the SteamPipe update initially hit, and it didn't work. I also just tested that a moment ago, and it yielded the same result as before - an invisible player model and the console being spammed with something about a vertex error.
You have to select the mesh you want to apply the weight to, and then select the 'Skin' modifier from the modifier list on the right hand side. Then there's a square box in the pane to which you have to add the bones that you would like to influence that part of the mesh.
It will weight it but the weights wont be great and you'll have to manually do so using envelopes, which will be quite tricky, but satisfying once you have a well weighted model.
Thank you guys but...
I fail again and again -__-
Somaone can do it for me please?
I really dream of this skin into my server :(

That means the model is working, just messed up.
