• (ZIP) ALL Call of Duty Black Ops weapons

Hi, I have been working for hours to make this model pack possible, and the good thing is, all the files are is MAYA file format, that means, all weapons have bones? in them? I think that is what its called, but all the weapons are "rigged" or "boned" however you call it, so porting should be easy. Every weapon in Black Ops I believe is in this pack, this pack was created by me. What it contains is 289 weapons, each weapon has there own folder and image folder, so you will easly find the image that belongs to that weapon, the images might have the spec map, normal map, cosine power and color map. Also, some weapons are not textured, please be aware Treyarch did not give Black Ops good mod tools and left out some important things like the materials for the images, these weapons that are not textured are weapons, I believe are not even in the game at all and were from previous games, like W@W and just forgot to take them out. If you need any help, just private message me. Link is going to be posted soon, I had to split the file into two pieces.
That's a lot of guns. You probably should have waited for the file to upload before you made the thread, though.
So... Are the guns ripped, ported or something?
So... Are the guns ripped, ported or something?
All guns are ported to MA, aka, Maya, just open it up in maya and you should be all set. I wish I could of ported it to Obj, but I believe OBJ does not support bones. [editline]28th January 2012[/editline]
That's a lot of guns. You probably should have waited for the file to upload before you made the thread, though.
I thought the upload would be quick, I was uploading when I made the thread, then after I uploaded I realized that you could only download 550 mb out of the 608 mb, so I had to find another place, I am still looking for file hosting sites, I miss Megaupload :/
Why can't you export it to 3ds? Not everyone is using shitty maya. Is there any plugin that will let me import this files to 3ds max 9?
Why can't you export it to 3ds? Not everyone is using shitty maya. Is there any plugin that will let me import this files to 3ds max 9?
The program I am using, only exports to MA or OBJ. The only solution I can currently think of is download the maya trial and open up the weapons you like and import it to 3Ds Max 9 by importing it to a different format that supports bones, maybe FBX? I can easily convert the models to OBJ if you like? you just wont have the bones since OBJ does not support it. My next model pack from Black Ops wont have this problem as much because most of the models are in OBJ.
OBJ will be fine. It's better to have a universal format.
OBJ will be fine. It's better to have a universal format.
Okay, I will update the main thread with a link to the OBJ version in a bit.
How about some pictures of them?, like in the mw3 weapons thread
How about some pictures of them?, like in the mw3 weapons thread
I'll post some pictures in a bit :D I am working on a obj pack of the weapons, For people who are checking this thread I am now releasing a Weapons_projectiles pack! These are the "projectiles" to the weapons, so if you are creating a mod and need the projectiles too, here they are! Its in Maya format, I am working on an obj pack too :D CODBlackOps Projectiles (MAYA)
It's not good if you're using ported particles or "projectiles" in your own mod. Except if you're making SWEPS from BO or something.
It's not good if you're using ported particles or "projectiles" in your own mod. Except if you're making SWEPS from BO or something.
I never thought about that, but its uploaded for the people who wants them. OBJ pack is coming later today :D
Are yopu going to upload the OBJ's with textures, or do I have to download the maya pack too?
I am uploading the obj pack, but there are some problems with it, I need to split it into smaller files. Sorry for the wait.

That's delicious!
For part 1 of the weapon models in .OBJ format, do you think you can provide an alternate link? For some reason SlingFile isn't letting me download anything, and I've already gone through my settings to make sure it allows cookies from that site (my settings do allow them, but still nothing).
I will see what I can do, does anyone know of free hosting services that support 600mb and up?
I will see what I can do, does anyone know of free hosting services that support 600mb and up?
Unless I am mistaken, Filesmelt should be sufficient. I'll dig around and see what other sites I can find.
You can make the pack weight less than 600MB if you delete the repeating textures. Every weapon folder has THE SAME textures for attachments.

Amazing work, and thanks for sharing!
Amazing work, and thanks for sharing!
Thank You :) [editline]4th February 2012[/editline]
You can make the pack weight less than 600MB if you delete the repeating textures. I tried to keep the file size very low but It wont work.
Or you can take them out of separate folders and have it all in the a main folder, which it would display properly. I can see that you want to have it organised though but that would work and help keep file size down.

I will consider this for a future pack update.
