Greetings, has anyone been able to rip from the new Berserk game? If so, anyone able to supply models or method for extracting them?
it's possible - there's just a couple of complications. we have to figure out what's going on with the textures and use them accordingly so that they're compatible with what we want to use them for. there's a few ways to extract models, but it's a tad unwieldy. not impossible fortunately. check around the xnalara forums, there should be a thread there for an SMC script.
Thankfully I'm a Blender user. The only links I could find related to the Berserk game in xnalara were related to the ps3 version of the game and required registering and downloading huge-ass files.
I too have been working on the Berserk And The Band Of The Hawk models. I got Teen guts all wrapped up, just gotta finish the face posing. The game models seem to be based off the movies so I've been editing the models a little to make them more akin to the Manga (since that's what I grew up with). That includes making the longsword's fuller lighter, darkening his armor and making his hair black. I've also made the strap which he carries the sword around with on his back since it was absent from the game entirely. Though Teen Gut's design in the Manga is quite a bit different from the movies, I changed the biggest things (except the sword design, working on that). I'm also gonna make the scarf and strap seperate bodygroups for anyone who wishes to have more control over posing them. And yes the original textures will be available for anyone who wants those.

Oh I just remembered, because of the large polycount of the model, I've also implemented LOD's.

Are those the PC models from the game and are you also going to do the Guts when he is wearing the berserker armor without the helmet?

Yeah this is the PC version. I'm gonna go through with the other models too, though it'll take time since I'm also trying to balance out work (the only reason I'm doing this is because I really wanted Berserk models for quite some time and the only model I had was from the PS2 version).

Ok last question sorry for all the questions but are you going to make it available for download once your done in like XNAlara format for free or for money because I been dying to get them as well?

Free, probably on Workshop for Garrys Mod. Doesn't make sense for me to charge for a model which I didn't make.

No clue what program that is. Try using a proper 3D modeling program that supports importing OBJ/SMD files. My recommendation is Blender because it's free.
Sorry i haven't use 3D modeling stuffs for a long time. I'm using Xnalara. Aren't these models supposed to work there??

Most of the models I uploaded are in obj/smd format and don't even have rigging or bones. They're not made for Xnalara, but rather to be edited with a 3D modeling program. Xnalara is for posing.

You can use Wall worm which is a script for 3DS Max to import the SMD/QC file to 3DS Max than you can export the model as a OBJ file for ZBrush or a FBX for Unreal

What is object 1? It doesn't load in any program I use.
