Hey Guys, I have a crash bandicoot game for my ps1 emulator its in .bin format and i really want to rip the crash bandicoot model from it.. Can anyone help me please?
i want to rip a model from soul reaver 1 but i dunno how...
thanks?
Yeah I would like to find this out too... I want to rip some Megaman legends stuff..
I don't think it's possible to get models from console games to a PC, unless they also released the same game for the PC. But you know, I could be wrong.

It might be possible, but it will probably be difficult. A good portion of PS1 games used flat shading, no textures. Which Source can't do. So you'll have to do the texturing yourself. Besides, the resolution on PS1 models are pathetically low. The DS has better than it. I don't see much use for ps1 models, simply because they will NOT look good. If you do want to try, use 3DRipperDX or OGLE, depending on which renderer your emulator is using.
Tried 3DRipperDX It ripped frames and textures... Couldnt use them since 3Ds Max wouldnt load up, Only reason why i need this is to help my modeler get a rough outline of the characters look, He might just improve on it or start it from scratch [editline]11:44PM[/editline] OGLE Seems to have a really hard method but i can do it :P
It would be great if someone rip off the .bin of Metal Gear Solid.
