• Cracked Glass - So Confused

Hey Guys, sorry if this is in the wrong section in the forums, It seemed the most apt for this, If not could you let me know where to post this? I'm having a bit of trouble with a 3D Apple Logo made of glass. What I'm going for is a Clear (Blue tint) Glass Apple logo with the steel band around the edge (in the style of the iPhones) but I wanted the glass to be cracked/shattered as if it had been dropped, I've watched every tutorial on shattered glass etc.. but none seem to be helping me, the closest I've got was a Apple logo, sliced up so on the surface it looks cracked but then in the middle of the glass it's glitchy, showing grey polys and nothing I've done can make this any better. I'm guessing it can be done, but i'm not sure my C4D skills are that advanced Sorry i've left out details or what I've said isn't clear, I'm pretty new to Cinema 4D, I only use it to help make images in conjunction with Photoshop Thank you for taking the time to read this :)
Ok, right now, my mind is going, ¿Qué?..... Are you asking if it's possible to make a glass Apple logo with cracks for Gmod, because I just read it and I'm not getting it at all.

I know some people use Cinema 4D for Modelling so thought they might have an idea what i'm messing up. This is where I get to before i fuck it up I make the Apple editable, then slice it with the knife tool, but then it goes wrong from there onwards, I'm sure it's just my knowledge of Cinema 4D. Sorry if this still doesn't make sense, I think I bit more than I could chew
