Okay, So i just posted on this help on the SFM section and on the Software section, and everyone told me to ask it here.
I need help with animations. How do i merge two animation files (.bip) to one biped on different parts of the time line? I've made two animations. A kip up animation and a kick, and i tried numerous of ways to combine the two but the end results were all bad.
These are the animations that I've created.

But the end results are awful. They were distorted and screwed up the entire animation, when i try to combine it through layers, and the end results through motion flow are alright but the direction of the kick is off and i do not know how to edit the keys in motion flow or even save the animation sequence.
Use the motionmixer tool in 3ds max then edit the animation curves to smooth the blends, if you are not satisfied with the results I suggest you look at using motionbuilder. I personally sugguest motionbuilder its really intuative and motion blends can look at lot neater.
