• Models from EP2 in HL2?

I'm pretty sure this can be done. What I want is a few bush and tree models from EP2 and use them in HL2. I've used GFC Scape to extract the models and placed them in the "models" of HL2. They show up in Hammer but you can't see the actuall model(it's invisible). I'm guessing it needs the materials for the model. I've tried finding them and I can't see them anywhere. Have I done this the right way? I know this seems a strange way of doing this, I cannot run EP2 at the moment and this is the only way round I can think of using the bushes I need.
They are the wrong model version. You would have to recompile them.
