I've seen alot of these cinema maps, and i've been inspired to make my own, and i'm just wondering how i can make the cinema screen?

Well, at least for RT monitors.
The cinema in, for example, RP_Hometown_1999, is an animated texture.
put phoenix materials in source sdk files. search rt_camera in the texture browser
Tip: make sure u make the texture fit, or the screen will be repetive
Thats not working for me, I put the materials folder out of phx into source sdk_content and in ep2 which is the config for hammer i'm using but it doesn't show up. When i put the rt_camera in ep2 materials it shows up as pink checkers aswell as ingame.

If you're testing in ep2 then try doing it with gmod.
There is rt textures in the hl2 files, else how would they be used throughout the game. Probably under dev/

I'm not testing in ep2, I'm using the ep2 config with hammer. I'm testing in gmod
