• Feedback on something I'm making

Hello, I would like some feedback on a map I've been making for the past month. I'm having quite a bit of fun making it and I'm learning a lot about hammer. Compile the map first, so that we can give you better feedback
I uploaded the compiled map pictures.
Get rid of the dev textures, use models, turn off fullbright.
I'm using the dev textures to make sure everything is lined up perfectly.
Are you just wanting feedback on gameplay or graphics. If for gameplay goto tf2 maps and put it in for a game day.
Not there's not really anything to look at here.
Yeah, I apologize for that. It's still in it's early stages. I've only been working on this map for about a month and a half.
It's hard to tell at this stage. Might be able to get some idea of gameplay, but as far as design and artistry go, it won't be apparent until you get a little more done. Once you start adding models, textures, and lighting, you'll really start to see what you've made come to life.

This project is actually a recreation of an area from a favorite videogame from my childhoood. Hopefully some people will recognize it.
I'd suggest adding in your light_environment sooner than later. It'll help get an idea for the way the map will feel. Also wouldn't hurt to just add in some plain lights into the interiors, even if you don't use prop models yet. Lighting, for me, is one of the most important details and one that I probably spend the most time tweaking to get just right. And... it's just cool seeing how the lights affect the mood of the map. Here's a good place to find the light_environment settings for the default skybox textures. I would suggest starting out with a basic layout of what you want first. If you just "wing it", you might not end up with something that you want in the end. It would waste a ton of time doing it that way.
Can't tell much at this state, maybe if you added light_envirnoment I would be able to tell.

Can you take more pictures? For something that is at that stage and you have worked a month and a half on, I would have expected something with a little more detail. I understand it's WIP, but not even just the absolute most basic geometric features of the map like overhangs or alcoves or anything? Is the map larger than what you have shown?

The second in-game picture doesn't show a whole lot of that inside area, but it's not that much you are missing.
I'm working on the next area of the map this week. Hopefully it will be done by the end of the month.
Done with what exactly? Like totally finished, or just done being blocked out. Also, how much time are you putting into this map on a week to week basis? Like working on it once every couple of days?
