Extremely tall lighthouse request

Would it be possible to make an extended version of the Lighthouse seen on the coast in Half-Life 2 with an urban looking skybox? I think it would be cool to have a detailed tower to perform free falls from. Also, keeping the same amount of detail would be great (i.e. the stairs, windows, light on top)! The goal is to have a tower roughly similar to Ostankino Tower in Moscow.

Are you asking for someone to make it, or asking if it can be done?

Because the latter you can do right now, go as high as the hammer grid lets you.

You are most likely gonna have pay someone some amount of money for it if you are making a request.

Its not something someone will just do for free unless you are lucky, also if you go through with this request and have funds for it, be prepared to write up an actually detailed explanation of what you want, its very beneficial to the mapper and in the end, will be beneficial to you.

If you just want to jump from the tallest tower possible I could just bust that out in like 30 minutes if you dont give a fuck about detail, its just 1 tall ass cube and a teleporter to the top.

But if you want something detailed and something thats actually good and takes time, you will need to thrown down some form of payment, whether money/games/sex.

That's not what I meant. I was trying to say as tall as Ostankino Tower, not as detailed. Could we stretch the middle of the lighthouse and put it on GM_Flatgrass?

Have you ever tried doing any mapping? I'm guessing not, since you're asking for someone to make this for you.

If you were interested in learning how to make your own maps, this idea you have would actually be a pretty good wait to learn some basics. I can send you some links to some great tutorials and offer any help I can if you have questions along the way.

I've been mapping for years and still learned a TON from this guy's videos.

I've got a million updates before I can get into Hammer, and I need to re- download a source game before I can do anything

Anyway, here's a VMF with the HL2 Lighthouse which someone can place on construct or something.

I de-compiled the original lighthouse, and recreated each brush so that it'd compile again, all you'll need to do is drag the top of the lighthouse off, duplicate the lighthouse structure vertically about 4-5 times, then add the top again.
