I've been trying to add a radar to a simple map that I found on the workshop, but I can't seem to get the scaling correct. I read through the creating a working mini-map on the valve software developer site, but haven't had much luck properly getting everything working. Might be somewhat due to the fact I haven't really messed about with anything like this before.
I think I might be messing up in capturing the image for the radar map. I thought I was getting it correct, but it always seems to be somewhat skewed, just doesn't seem to be perfectly flat. Unfortunately I seem to be able to repeat this too, so I can't figure out where I'm going wrong with the movement for this.
Would anyone be able to help try and either show me how to create the radar correctly, or possibly create the dds file for the radar itself? (literally just a top down view of the map, nothing like bomb site layers etc).
The map is on the CSGO workshop, called "de_dust2_2x2_pro" (link here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=131366311&searchtext=2x2).
Any help at all would be appreciated!
Have you looked here?

I used this. I found it very useful.
