What I really need are some good resources, something that won't utterly fail on me, such as; indoor furniture, recreational furniture, lighting props and something that clearly works.
It doesn't look that horrible, I just chose the worst angle for the map
Hehe, thanks, and I've fixed it up quite some
here's my current revision, pretty close to release!

I cqtm'd, enough to somewhat lighten my mood.
Wrong section?
What is this?
It's a show off of my map that I'm starting to lose hope in
It's a loft apartment, and to be honest, 70% of the content is either broken or missing
Just goes to show how good I am at modding. :)
Learn how to use blender or XSI (which apparently works really well with Source, never tried it myself). Make custom models and texture them. It will take longer, but the results are exactly what you had in mind.
Better than my map so far.
That comic is so... Random, I literally cried with laughter.
I only more threads could be like this.
If I understand the thread correctly; try the mappers encyclopaedia for some materials/models.

Looks really nice, although the carpet looks a bit off, aswell does the mirror on the railing.
