Too blocky, Vaults in FO3 are very smooth and don't use hardedges really.
The color scheme isn't very Vault looking. There's not really much dark blue/yellow in the vaults, in fact, in my memory, almost the entire thing was light blue/silver.
i know the code to the vault door. its 3712. i found it out by typing 1337 and then pressed 37 again by accident. then i tried 1234 but then it opened after 12 so i tried 3712 and it worked. hoped this helped anyone trying to get in the vault without no clipping.

Doesn't look too bad, you could name it something else and it would work better. Just add detail props, use less ugly textures (Dx8/Dx7 textures is what it looks like you're using..) add better lights, add sprites, effects if you can.
For a second map it's quite excellent.

Well I found an BUG with the code it should be 1-2-6-9-12 but somewhat it is 1-2

I think by FO3 you meant Fallout 3.Well I never played that game so IDK how Vaults look in it.
well i think the code is quite hard to guess. and its not a bug its just that codes only allow 4 numbers. could you add an outside area? just a suggestion

Well I owredy did add an outside area in V4 I didn't upload it yet tho (not rely outside if I add an skybox some things get ******)

hello again, nexus, i see no one has posted in 3 months. i don't see why, its such a great map.
my computer had to be reset a couple weeks ago so i had to redownload everything. what a shame (lol)

i have just been to your map and heres what i think COULD be improved:
1. use the half life 2 button textures because all of them are that no material texture
2. the hallway for the door to the code is all no material textre as well. you probably used css
3. the reactor should be accessable like a staff entrance
4. the water for me just shows up white so i can not get to the reactor room without noclipping.
great map still
someone should make a map that exatly looks like vault 101 that would be cool

I have been practicing with vault doors and such in hammer but... i have a litte issue with the actualy shape of the door in its self... i cant ever get the "teeth" to line up right with the floor teeth. send a formula or something and ill figure it out (anyone who is nice enough.)

OK I'm sorry but that looks nothing like a vault, I'm recommend using some of the textures from de_nuke would suffice for a vaultish look.

Make a circular door then place an arch around the entire thing. Then put a larger arch around it. Then select the teeth of the smaller arch and group them with the door. The remainder get grouped with the outer arch.
