Propper is recomended and allowed for large, Complex pieces 5. The map must be made by you, Or a group of people, With you included Deadline: Maps must be uploaded and linked to, In this thread, Or Pm'd to me by the 9TH OF APRIL, 0 Gmt On 10Th of April i will begin a voting thread to see who wins Participation: Anyone is aloud to enter, comment and give Constructive Criticism, But saying that a map is crap without reason will be frowed upon
Frowed upon, huh? What exactly are you asking for? Rules are pretty vague.
I'm going to carve a torus and call it modern art [editline]a[/editline]
2. Don't just carve a torus into a sphere and say it is amazing
GOD DAMNIT
4. Propper is recomended and allowed for large, Complex pieces
This means it's no longer brushwork and you don't have to stick within the constraints of brushwork, therefore it's not a brushwork contest.
Does it have to be compilable? Because I can think of some pretty craaaazy shit that can be done within the vmf. [editline]10:00PM[/editline]
anything else that isnt very nice

1. No Sex,
lol
Does it have to be compilable? Because I can think of some pretty craaaazy shit that can be done within the vmf. [editline]10:00PM[/editline] lol
That wouldn't really be "great" brushwork. That's more like "lolsocrazy" brushwork.
This means it's no longer brushwork and you don't have to stick within the constraints of brushwork, therefore it's not a brushwork contest.
This. Also I'm slightly confused. Is this a contest for making a map which just so happens to have fabulous brushwork (so essentially another map contest but with a different theme), or am I just opening up hammer and spamming primitives into an interesting shape?
This will be fun...
I'm going to make the most amazing door the in the world.

Hmm, custom textures?
Just to be clear, We are meant to be making something astounding with brushes, A large structure with all kinds of stuff pointing out the side, As long as it looks good And is mostly brushes, You can enter it

^ that
As long as it looks good
Using propper makes the brushes turn to models, so it defies the point of this contest.
:D It's a hollow sphere, made without carving
H-óoooly jee-súus...
Oh yeah, you can do this in my sphere with a jeep: you can go 360 degrees (Like the guy in the image) in an never ending loop. Going up over the top and down again is possible with the turbo for one full circle, but you can't do more than 1.
